Community Action in the West End

Earlier this week, our volunteer Korey spoke to BBC Radio Newcastle about the work he and other volunteers are doing to keep the West End clean.

What began as one person deciding to act has grown into regular community litter picks, bringing people together to care for the spaces they share.

At WERS, we see this as part of something bigger. When communities take ownership of their neighbourhoods, small actions can begin to shift how places feel — and how they work.
