OUR PROGRAMMES
INFORMATION, ADVICE, ADVOCACY & SUPPORT
We support people seeking asylum and refugees across the North East to navigate the asylum system, access mental health support and connect with essential services.
Through our outreach work and partnerships, we help people address immediate challenges while building the confidence and skills to take an active role in their communities and shape their futures.
-

Outreach sessions
We conduct sessions in hotels and other temporary accommodation sites to engage with individuals seeking asylum in a sensitive manner, providing them with essential information, guidance, and connections to resources.
It is particularly crucial to extend support in these locations, especially for newly arrived individuals, as it allows us to address their immediate needs during this transitional phase.
-

Casework support (1-2-1)
We provide case work support on an appointment basis, tailoring our assistance to the specific needs of individuals. Our dedicated team works closely with individuals, offering personalised guidance signposting, access to essential services.
