City of Sanctuary Debate

We’re delighted that Newcastle City Council has reaffirmed Newcastle’s commitment as a City of Sanctuary. Newcastle is where WERS was born in 1999, and it makes us incredibly proud to be part of a community that not only rejects division and hatred, but commits to continuing the Geordie welcome for which our city is so well known.
