Exploring migration through history
We were delighted to see our work with the Vindolanda Trust featured on ITV Tyne Tees recently!
Through this exciting partnership, people supported by WERS have been taking part in pottery workshops and exploring the history of migration along Hadrian's Wall, connecting experiences of movement, culture and belonging across centuries.
The project offers opportunities to learn new skills, explore local heritage, build friendships and contribute to an upcoming exhibition.
A huge thank you to the Vindolanda Trust for making this possible, to our colleague Emma for coordinating the activities, and to everyone who has taken part.
Watch the ITV Tyne Tees report below, featuring participants from the project.
