Our AGM on 11 October was well-attended with 65 members and non-members meeting together in Westgate Baptist church. Chi Onwurah, MP for Newcastle Central was the guest speaker and her inspiring talk included some of her experiences growing up as a black child in Newcastle and the challenges currently facing the voluntary and community sector.
